Profanity & Forgiveness.


Do you have a hard time listening to the profanity spoken by friends or in your 12 Step meetings?
The Good Book says that a profane word spoken crushes the heart of the listener. So how do we deal with the words that offend us.
Perhaps we judge to fast.
Also, What happens to those of us who have been violated by another when the one who wronged us attempts to make amends and we refuse to forgive them.

    While I agree that some “hard” cases won’t get the message unless spoken in their language, it can be a great “turn-off” for a newcomer to hear a bunch of profanity in their 1st meeting. Personally, I don’t care/mind. Principally, any message, any where, can be be transmitted without the use of profanity. Just sayin,……………

    I agree profanity is completely rejecting :/
