The Most Misunderstood Step in Recovery

‘UNDERSTANDING STEP TEN” Possibly the most misunderstood Step of all.

Step Ten states: “Continued to take personal inventory and when we were wrong promptly admitted it.”
Join the Monty’man, Eve D. and Bruce H. as they discuss what very well may be the most misunderstood Step of all.
This is not a maintenance Step, but a continuing to grow Step and by the time we reach Step Ten we should have a clear and conscious relationship with our creator, understand prayer and be at a place where we are willing to apply and implement what we have learned thus far without much thought on our part. It becomes such a part of us we practice these principles almost without blinking, or do we? We close out this week’s “Great Reality” show with Ray White’s song, “Higher Power”

Understanding Steps Eight & Nine

Step Eight states: “Made a list of all persons we had harmed, and became willing to make amends to them all”.

Step Nine states: “Made direct amends to such people wherever possible, except when to do so would injure them or others”. So many people in recovery will slight these Steps because they just don’t have the courage to face the people they have harmed.  We believe that if the Steps have been worked properly that one would be eager to walk through this part of the recovery process.

Join Eve D., Bruce H. and the Monty’man as they unpack these two Steps and discuss the importance of the amends process.  Also let’s play some Step Trivia and take a look at the promises that come true as a result of working Step Nine.  Closing Song, “In My World” by Ray White.
